Black Hawk Crane & Rigging Inc. in Gillette, WY, was established in 1978 by Arthur C. "Ace" Rogen. The company was founded with one crane and one truck and eventually grew to a fleet of rigging vehicles and multiple cranes. Ace's son, Chuck, is one of our crane operators and a field superintendent. As a family owned and operated company, we value honesty, cost efficiency, and safety. Our employees are the best and brightest in the business, and they are our greatest asset.

We Offer Versatility in Our Cranes

We use a number of different cranes to get jobs done. These include 2 and 3 crane lifts, 10- to 250-ton all-terrain hydraulic cranes with reach capability up to 330 feet, and smaller boom trucks that can handle up to 21 tons.

An Exemplary Equipment Safety Record

Basic rigging, a rigger, and an operator are provided with each crane for all jobs. Every crane is stored and maintained at our well-equipped indoor maintenance facility, and examined thoroughly by certified crane inspectors. Black Hawk Crane and Rigging maintains an exemplary safety record. All of our crane operators are friendly, Montana licensed, certified by the NCCCO, and insured.

Specialized Fleet of Peterbilt and Kenworth Tractors

We also feature a specialized fleet of Peterbilt and Kenworth tractors that can be matched with a wide range of trailers and configurations and can meet the needs of almost any trucking project. Our vehicles have a hauling capacity of up to 210,000 pounds and are designed to accommodate interstate hauling.
